Notes at Sand Bank

standing at the sand bank
reading parable of nature like a traveler

who often visits and leave

travel is a long journey

reflect on nature extensive as a teacher

too many questions not countable
no time for me to note them all

when talking of the eternal

enlightened world spread thus

as if testing man's wisdom

character of god green and blue

wind storm charging at the shore
flora and fauna i had time to love
cave of limestone hill full of mystery

in it would i find skeleton archives of ancient man
for me to ponder on history past?

cluster of isles continues far

green shrubs, mangrove and casuarinas surround

eagle, kingfisher, starfish and sea snails

white sand, waves blue and red sunset

are secrets of nature that provokes

at sand bank which exist then does not
i pray that on this journey of mine
shoots insight

from nature's wisdom

these are my wandering notes

who visits and returns
before night falls
